What is Trinity GESE?
The GESE assess the English speaking and listening skills of people whose first language is not English. They are designed to improve motivation and confidence in using the language, and enable students of English to map their progress from CEFR Pre-A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Proficiency).
Where is Trinity GESE recognised?
Trinity GESE examinations are recognised by companies and higher education institutions around the world as evidence of English language proficiency.
What do the exams consist of?
The GESE examinations are available at 12 grades, which are organised into four language levels: Initial, Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced. As students move from one stage to next, they will be required to perform more tasks, but the primary focus is on personal experiences and real-life contexts. How can I book my exam?
The Trinity GESE examinations at Bloomsbury International are available to:
• Groups of 6 or more candidates who enrol on our preparation courses.
Trinity exams at Bloomsbury International are not open to UK Visa applicants, as we are not registered as a Secure English Language Test Centre (SELT) with the UKVI.
However, we do provide SELT preparation courses for:
- Trinity SELT GESE Grade 2 (A1)
- Trinity SELT GESE Grade 5 (B1)
How will I receive my result?
The Marks will be available within 2 days of the exam, accompanied by the candidates’ official report form. Certificates will be despatched 6-8 weeks after the exam session.
