International Foundation Programme

Who is it for?

The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is designed for international students who want to apply for an undergraduate course but do not meet the English language or academic entry requirements.
There are three broad pathways to choose from: Business Studies and Economics; Computer Science; Engineering and Mathematics. Students will also study IELTS and take the examination at the end of the course.

The IFP combines intensive English language preparation and academic study, while developing study skills and providing students with a unique opportunity to become familiar with living and studying in the UK. The course is designed for students who have completed high school with good grades and need to improve their English to be able to apply to study for an undergraduate degree.
You will receive assured conditional progression to universities in London and around England upon successful completion of the IFP, which provide you with a wide range of course options to choose from.
The programme is a nine or six month pre-university qualification designed to develop your language and study skills and teach you to study and research independently. The programme also integrates IELTS preparation and students take an IELTS test at a local test centre before the course is complete.

  • For January 2018 start: 5.0 – 5.5 IELTS (B2)
