Bloomsbury International May News

What a summer we have in store here at Bloomsbury International! It is only May and we are already looking to welcome groups from Argentina, Brazil, Italy, China, Spain, France, Germany and Russia over the summer months, with more due to confirm from across the world! It is great receiving such a diverse nationality mix of students. As an independent school with one central London campus not only does the diversity of these nationalities create such a great atmosphere around the school, but also ensures that students are immersed in the commonly shared English language and are able to realise their goals of improving the English language skills even quicker!

A large part of what makes each group’s visit to Bloomsbury international such a success (alongside our lessons of course) is the brilliant daily social programme. Students can take a stroll to many of London’s main attractions close to the school or go further afield and visit historic places such as Windsor Castle, the prestigious Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, Wembley Football Stadium or visit the bustling seaside town of Brighton, only 60 minutes from the school. And for those Harry Potter fans, a trip to Warner Brothers Studios can be arranged. There really is something for everyone, but don’t leave it too late to get in touch as the best attractions get booked up very quickly.

There are still some spaces available at our very own student houses, located in quiet leafy streets close to all local amenities and a short tube ride to the school. Students find cooking, eating, socialising and studying together with fellow Bloomsbury students from all over the world a really enjoyable experience, and many remain friends after their courses have finished. But these residences are extremely popular and are selling fast so don’t disappoint your clients, book today.

parent and child programme

April saw our spring young learners' camp in full swing; while the under 16s from across the world enjoyed a month of fun, interactive English lessons at our Junior school, their parents and guardians studied happily in the knowledge that the children were improving their English in a safe, exciting and motivating atmosphere.

Parent and child courses have seen a large increase year-on-year and this spring was no exception. But who better to explain why Bloomsbury International was their first choice than the students themselves - read some testimonials from our very happy students here.
