I'm Andrea, I'm from Italy and I'm 36 years old. I've been in Bloomsbury International for 8 months. When I arrived, I couldn’t speak English, my first class was at pre-intermediate level. Now I finished the course studying in an IELTS class and I can think about studying at university.

I've known many teachers and I think they are really prepared and accurate. All staff is very helpful and kind. Personally, I believe that Bloomsbury International is an excellent school. I can really suggest it to everyone who wants to learn English.

Before taking the TOEIC exam in March 2013, I attended an English class for 9 weeks at Bloomsbury International. This school allowed me to boost my English very quickly and so I got a score of 945 for my Listening and Reading TOEIC exam!

Bloomsbury’s teachers and staff are really engaged and friendly. They always listen to students in order to help them improve their English skills. First of all, thank you so much. Thanks to you I really learnt a lot of things. You always praised me highly even though I couldn't do well, so that I could speak with confidence. Especially I've got really nice memories of classes with you. Because of the education system in Korea, I just focussed on grammar to get a high exam grade to enter a good university. You’ve changed my way to approach English.

Now I realise that English is not just a subject in school, it is a language. After that I could communicate easily without thinking of my mistakes. The last thing I want to say is that Bloomsbury is perfect to improve your English and all teachers and staff are great.

I’m so proud that I got a perfect score. Although I was aiming for the perfect score, I wasn't sure if it was even possible. Two months before the exam, I bought a textbook which has 6 exams and tried to do the test in the same way as the actual test allocating the same time and giving myself pressure. I listened to the included CDs many times and even read the dialogues aloud to familiarize myself with the types of conversation.

The most difficult thing was keeping my concentration because the exam lasts for more than two hours. In order to strengthen my concentration, I studied in a noisy place such as on a tube or bus, even in a noisy library where children were playing around trying not to be distracted by anything. I’m an English teacher in Japan and always tell my students that practice is important to be a better English teacher, so I’m glad I can prove this to my students.

Bloomsbury International was the perfect location to take the exam. The TOEIC centre looks very professional. I hadn’t been there before the exam but even contacting staff through emails was quick and helpful.

Before and after the exam, the staff were friendly and cared about each person. I highly recommend this centre to brush up and test your English skills.

This year was one of the most fulfilling year of my life! It is thanks to the great teachers and the school, the people who supporting me.

Thank you very much for such brilliant news and the result. Due to the nature of my business, I read around 150 e-mails each day, plus several industry papers, internal and external documents are stacked on my desk, which surely improved my English reading capabilities. Also, I have 20 or so telephone business discussions each day, which has also assisted me in improving my Listening skills. After everything, I have to express my sincere appreciation of my excess work load. There is a Japanese saying, originally from China, ‘every cloud has a silver lining.’

I knew I did quite well in my TOEIC exam, but scoring 100% is really a pleasant surprise! What can I say!! I’ve been 3 months here at Bloomsbury. I never been in this school before even if I am living in London since the 7th Jul 2011………..I decided to book my general English course and I really enjoy it……….everyone was nice and kind with me from the first day especially the receptionist ladies who made me feel comfortable to become part of the school. Bloomsbury college is a real English School! I love my class atmosphere. We are ten students from different countries and I get a feel of multicultural spirit! It’s amazing! Moreover, the school is in a fantastic position. A traditional English buildings in the centre of London!

Very professional teachers, they have very interesting programme which is variable. I like the atmosphere in the class room. I like working in pairs and groups. The Staff is very helpful.

Studying in this school was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and take care of the students. As far as the lessons are concerned, they are all very interesting. The learning ways are varied.(subjects, oral and reading understanding, pronounciation, grammar etc.) And teachers are attentive and make us feel confident in using English.

I like the fact that there are so many nationalities in one class, everybody has got a different accent so nobody is making fun of because of the way he talks. It’s very different from school, much more relaxed. Thanks to the test at the beginning, we can learn English with people of our levels. It allows us to progress a lot.
