TOEIC Examination
TOEIC is a measure of how well you are able to apply and understand English in an international business/industrial environment. Questions are based upon everyday work related situations.
The exam contains a total of 200 multiple choice questions. It lasts for 2 hours and is divided into two sections:
Listening (100 questions)
Reading (100 questions)
You will receive a mark of between 5 and 495 points for each section which are then added together to give you a total score out of 990 points.
The higher your score, the greater your chances of future professional advancement or promotion in an international business setting are likely to be.
Bloomsbury International is an official TOEIC examination centre and you can take your exam with us twice every month on Thursdays. (Additional dates available in July and August)
Your results will be delivered to the school approximately a week after the exam. We will keep them in the school for you. You need to come and collect them, or ask a friend to do so. If you would like to have them posted, you need to pay £3.00 for registered post within the UK. For international post, you can pay £5.00 for normal post or £10.00 for registered international post.
