Johnny Day
Teacher
Hi, my name’s Johnny. I’ve been teaching in London for the past year.
I’m a big fan of London, having lived close to it all my life, and attended university in its vibrant East-End quarter. It’s a diverse place, packed full of opportunities for cultural exchange. This is something we try to encourage students to get involved in. Be it a trip to one of London’s many monuments, museums and parks, or an outing to the theatre, or an evening of music - this city has it all. Ask us, we’d be happy to recommend places for you to visit.
Personally I like to indulge in the musical and theatrical elements of the city, and will often venture to a club for a dance, or to a pub to play my faithful guitar. This guitar may well make its way into one or two of your lessons!
I hope your stay in London, however long, is an enriching experience. Remember, you are here to learn English, but experiencing London and practicing what you learn will help you improve faster: go out and do things, talk to people, and most of all - have fun!
