Hello!

I’ve been teaching English since 2010 and thoroughly enjoy it! My first teaching post took me to Indonesia, where I taught for one year in a small mountain town called Malang. My time in East Java was incredible! I picked up the Indonesian language  very quickly - which allowed me to make local friends, joke with strangers, explore independently, and pay local prices at the markets! (so I understand the desire of wanting to learn a language as well as the difficulty at times).

In Malang I taught a variety of classes in a private school, including general, business and conversational English to students of all levels; beginner to advanced. In addition to this I also worked with children (aged 3-15) helping to improve their pronunciation, social, motor and cognitive skills.

Having recently moved to London myself, I appreciate how daunting the city can be at times, but also how exciting it is to be in such a buzzing place. I am glad to be back in the UK where I want to begin working towards a more senior teaching position over the next few years.
