Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan & Apollo are Global Distribution System (GDS) used by travel agencies and
airlines to confirm reservations for airline seats, hotel rooms, car hire etc. using advanced computer technology.
This 50-hour course equips industry entrants with a thorough knowledge and understanding of any of the GDS.
At Bloomsbury International, we train students on the GDS via more than 20 high-speed 'flat screen' computer
terminals in our modern & comfortable computer lab or alternatively, students have the freedom to take the course
online which gives them the flexibility to study at home.

Identify IATA geographical areas, sub-areas and Global Routing Indicators
Select the lowest applicable fare for a given itinerary fares
Construct fares for fundamental multi-sector journeys, applying the mileage system, NUCs and converting into Local Currency
Complete fare calculation area details in manual and automated formats
Interpret all types of IATA travel documents from e-tickets to ATBs, from OPTAT/TAT to manual tickets
Issue Multiple Purpose Documents and Miscellaneous Charges Orders for Tickets on Departure |
