An ideal introduction to the essential principles of the hotel business

The Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide students with a broad understanding of the operational aspects of the international hotel industry, and a knowledge of the underlying principles involved.

No previous experience or hotel management training is required for entry to this first year programme which starts from the very beginning and introduces the basic ingredients of a hotel manager's necessary skill portfolio. Theoretical subjects such as marketing and the behavioral aspects of tourism are also covered.

The programme will be taught over a 36-week period with a total of 450 hours tuition input plus additional research, guided self-study, assignments and projects. There are ten separate 2 and a half hour exams for each module held three times year at the end of each term.
