London Life
Explore London, have fun, make friends and learn English!

Bloomsbury International's London Life course is a specially developed programme combining a General English course with teacher-led social and cultural activities in and around London.

You can choose between a one, two, three or four week course but can also continue with your language studies on one of our other programmes when you finish. Included in the course are all tuition and admission fees, teacher guides, materials but exclude transport costs.

On the course, you'll have the opportunity to experience all that this amazing, vibrant city has to offer and learn all about historic London, its contemporary culture and famous attractions. You'll also be able to make international friends, all done while improving your English language skills.

The Language Course

The language learning component of the London Life course includes 15 General English lessons per week (15:10 - 18:30, Monday to Friday) and 5 Conversation Lessons per week (14.00 - 15.00, Monday to Friday).

The General English lessons will help you develop your speaking, listening, reading, writing skills, pronunciation and vocabulary while building on your existing understanding and knowledge of grammar.

The 5 Conversation Lessons follow a specially designed syllabus that matches the daily activities and excursions. The input and practice provided during these speaking skills sessions and the use of authentic materials helps students to develop their practical communication skills in real life settings outside the classroom.

In order to ensure you get the most out of your London Life course, we have carefully selected the teachers not only on the basis of their teaching merits, qualifications and experience but also for their enthusiasm and commitment to make your experience a truly enjoyable one.

As with all our courses, you will have full use of our extensive, modern facilities and additional learning resources.

Morning Excursions & Activities
In the mornings, the programme includes a series of activities and excursions, each led by one of our teacher guides.
