Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens Kew Gardens is just outside of London, and it’s one of the biggest collections of different types of plants in the world. Over 1 in 8 species (types of plants) can be found here in the gardens. Tickets cost £12.50 for students and can be bought on the door.

It’s a great time of year to visit and there is currently a major exhibition currently being held there.

Tips from Teachers: Jack

If you’re trying to learn how to spell new words, Jack says:

Look at a word, cover the word with your hand or book, write the word from memory, then check to see if you got it right!”

New Registrar: Kerstin

We have had a new addition to the team here at Bloomsbury! Meet Kerstin, she’s from Austria and she loves music, sports and, probably like most of you, travelling!

Say hi to Kerstin and be sure to welcome her to Bloomsbury!

New Term Starting, 2nd July

From next week, Bloomsbury will start to look a little busier. We have many people joining the school from all around the world and maybe even some other new faces! You might be wondering what a new term means for students. It means:

New course books: say good bye to Straight Forward and New Inside Out, because we’ll be starting new books next week!
Level change tests: this Wednesday students will be taking a level change test in order to find out if they need to be moved up to the next level.
New teachers: not only may the current teachers move around slightly, but you may even have a new teacher on Monday! New term, new start!
