English language exams not only enable you to provide evidence of your abilities, but also present a useful goal for you to achieve during your stay, providing a stronger incentive to learn. We therefore encourage all our students to take an internationally recognized English examination as part of their studies with us.

As well as offering a full range of Exam Preparation courses, Bloomsbury International is an official TOEFL and TOEIC test centre offering the new TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test) and the paper-and-pencil TOEIC test.


	If you would like to demonstrate your English language skills to an employer, the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) test is widely accepted by corporations, English language programs, and government agencies around the world. With more than 4.5 million test takers per year, the TOEIC test is the standard for workplace English language proficiency worldwide.


	For those non-native English speakers that wish to undertake graduate or postgraduate studies at a British university, you will need to prove that your English is of a high enough level to be able to complete the course. The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) test opens more doors than any other academic English test and is widely accepted by most British universities.
